The goal of both Enlightened Golf workshops, and peak performance consulting, is to give you the knowledge and skills needed to consistently be in control of your physical and mental game.
We will assist you in understanding how your thoughts affect the chemistry of your brain and how that influences your performance.
You will experience first hand the mind-body connection by utilizing the technique of Psychological Kinesiology. This will in turn help you to realize how any negative feedback loop adversely affects your performance.
Your body and subconscious mind has stored, in it’s internal filing system, every missed shot, every golf course which ever hurt your feelings, every stressful tournament which you blew; and these internal files affect you every time you play -- whether you realize it or not. It is the person, or the team, with the most mental and emotional toughness who succeeds the most often.

A golfer must first be able to “see” a shot in his mind before he can properly and consistently execute it.
|
|
|
Most people rarely think about the state of their mental game. Instead they make excuses like: “I’m out of practice, my back hurts, I need a new club, I’m just unfocused, I don’t care, or I just blew that one.”
Regular use of mental skills techniques is the biggest reason the best players in the world consistently play well under pressure.
With mental game training, the mind can be reprogrammed to acknowledge distractions, whether internal (anxiety, fear of failure, the pressure of expectations, etc...) or external (crowd noise, other competitors, poor weather conditions), without allowing them to have a negative impact on your score.
Limiting thoughts and negative emotions are ever present in your game; and it’s time that you became aware of how they impact your performance and your potential.
Remember when you played a course, a hole, or with certain people, and you played poorly. Think about how you felt during and after that game. The memories of those failures are still with you, trapped in your body and your mind, and they are still affecting how you play now.
Just think about it; what kind of negative thought loops, or mental chatter (you know the stuff you say to yourself), are insidiously eroding away at your ultimate performance?
